The market is still really hot, and homes are still getting multiple offers. If you’re not on top of it, you could get swamped with stuff to do. So we wanted to give you a few pointers on how to get ahead and keep things moving quickly.

Make sure that as soon as you get the listing signed, open your title report and work on your preliminary report. Even if you have a week or so to do it, this can help keep your plate clear.

You’ll also want to get all the information buyers might need to be prepared right away. That means boundary lines, preliminary reports, tax rolls, and plotted easements. You may be asked for these 30 or so times, so it pays to line it all up in advance.

This way, when the house goes into escrow, all we have to do is update the preliminary report. It really helps get the ball rolling and make sure everything is moving.
